Harmony Skin Tightening (ST) with Pulsed Light

Approved by the FDA, Harmony ST uses NIR (near infra red) pulsed light technology to treat wrinkles and skin laxity through deep dermal heating that selectively targets collagen, protein and fat.

Without harming the skin's surface, pulsed light safely and effectively heats the inner layer - dermis - of the skin, inducing the formation of collagen, essential for a firm, young look.

Compared to other skin tightening treatments (i.e. Thermage, Titan) which do not filter out the high water absorption wavelengths that cause pain, Harmony ST only targets what really matters in tissue remodeling - collagen, protein and fat. As a result, clients experience little or no pain with the treatment, and can return to their normal activities immediately.

Common areas treated include the face , neck , chest , hands and arms . Clients generally need a series of 6 treatments, at three-four week intervals. Results can be seen immediately and will steadily improve over the following weeks and months.

Restylene

Facial wrinkles and creases appear as the underlying collagen and elastin fibers begin to break down and wear out. Restylane is a synthetic, biodegradable product that contains hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal-clear gel. Restylane is often used to volumize the lips or to fill in fine lines or wrinkles to the face. It is most often injected into the lips or nasolabial folds. It typically lasts 4-6 months before it dissolves and gets absorbed into your body's tissues.

How does the Laser remove hair?
The laser works by a principle called Selective Photothermolysis. The laser is pulsed (turned on) for a millisecond emitting a beam of light on to the skin. The light energy passes harmlessly through the skin, but is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and hair shaft. By absorbing this laser energy, the hair follicles are disabled, impairing their ability to grow. The laser is only effective on hair follicles in the active growth phase (anagen), eliminating undesired hair from all parts of the body. Laser therapy leaves your skin looking and feeling softer and smoother.
 
For 90-95% hair reduction, the recommended amount of treatments is a total between 4-6. Treatments are 6-8 weeks apart due to the different hair growth cycle. The number of treatments varies by area treated and the individual.

BOTOX® blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to wrinkles. Botox relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. Botox improves the appearance of worry lines, frown lines, laugh lines, crow's feet, and other dynamic wrinkles. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.

Chemical Peels have been used for decades to revitalize and resurface skin. They involve applying a chemical solution to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reveal a younger, clearer, more radiant complexion. Chemical peels, also known as "Lunchtime Peels" are traditionally performed on the face, hands, neck, back and shoulders, legs and other problem areas to treat fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and skin discoloration.

PCA Peel® consists of salicylic acid - a beta-hydroxy acid which is found naturally in willow bark, wintergreen leaves, and sweet birch bark. Formulations containing high concentrations of salicylic acid help slough off dead cells and debris while stimulating the skin's natural renewal process. These peels help to repair and reduce breakouts, control oil, soften lines and provide a more even, smooth skin texture.

TCA Peel Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) can be used in many concentrations, but it is most commonly used for medium-depth peeling. Fine surface wrinkles, superficial blemishes and pigment problems are commonly treated with TCA. A medium chemical peel will improve color, freshness, texture, skin tone, and fine wrinkles. It will also improve superficial discoloration, such as age spots. It may improve blotches and can sometimes improve dark circles under your eyes. Medium peels may be repeated every three to six months for optimal results. Unlike deep peels, medium peels may be performed safely on people with olive and light brown skin. They may also be used in some people with dark brown skin, although the risk of discoloration is higher.
